  • Voters remain evenly divided on whether cutting government spending helps or hurts the economy.
    • Thirty-five percent (35%) say it hurts the economy while thirty-four percent (34%) believe it helps.
  • In our July 7-8 survey, Napolitan News found that 61% of voters reported economic growth as more important than cutting government spending.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen August 25-26, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
