  • On economic issues, voters narrowly trust Republicans over Democrats.
    • On the economy overall, 42% of voters trust the Republican party more than Democrats while 38% trust Democrats more.
  • On inflation, voters also trust the Republican party more by a 42% to 38% margin.
  • On healthcare, Democrats have the advantage by a 46% to 38% margin.
    • Democrats have consistently led voters' trust on Healthcare with margins as high as 14-point differences. Last April, 47% of voters trusted Democrats, but only 33% trusted Republicans.
  • Voters rate the three most important issues as economy, inflation, and healthcare.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen August 21, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
