  • Just 31% say it is at least Somewhat Likely that the fighting in Iran will conclude in the next few weeks.
    • Nearly 6 in 10 voters (57%) disagree.
    • Those numbers include 12% who say it is Very Likely, while 28% say it is Not At All Likely.
    • Half (50%) of Trump-policy voters say the fighting is likely to end in a few weeks, but just 35% of Traditional GOP voters agree.
  • The story continues to be among the hottest in recent years; 35% are following it Very Closely.
    • For context, 37% followed the Minneapolis shootings Very Closely, and 27% followed the Epstein files Very Closely.
    • Last week, 40% reported following it Very Closely -- a 13-point bounce from the survey prior.
  • Meanwhile, support for the attacks is largely unchanged: 41% favor them and 52% oppose them.
    • These numbers include 19% who Strongly Favor the attacks, and 35% who Strongly Oppose them.
    • Three quarters (73%) of Republicans favor the attacks, while three quarters (76%) of Democrats oppose them.
  • Support for Trump's handling of Iran in general is also largely unchanged: 42% approve of it, while 53% disapprove.
    • One in 5 (21%) Strongly Approve, while 40% Strongly Disapprove.
    • Again, the differences fall starkly along party lines.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 23-24, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
