  • Just 35% of voters now favor of the attacks on Iran.
    • This is the first real movement we've seen in this number. Prior to this, it had ranged from 39% to 43%.
    • Meanwhile, 57% of voters now oppose of the attacks, surpassing the previous high of 55%.
    • The totals include 16% who Strongly Favor the attacks and 38% who Strongly Oppose them.
  • As the war drags on, Republican support is slipping.
    • For the first time, a narrow majority (51%) of Traditional Republican voters now oppose the attacks, while 46% of them favor.
    • Approval from Trump-policy voters is also down; 74% now approve, down from 86% a week ago.
  • Approval of Donald Trump's handling of the situation in Iran as a whole is at its lowest as well, with 36% approving.
    • Again, 6 in 10 voters (58%) disapprove.
  • The story continues to be one of the most closely followed in recent years; 31% are now following it Very Closely.
    • That number has steadily gone down from a high of 40% two weeks ago.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 30-31, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
