  • Just 33% say it's likely that President Trump's proposed peace plan will lead to lasting peace in Israel and Gaza.
    • That includes 13% who say it is Very Likely. 
    • A majority (54%) say it is unlikely, including 25% say it is Not at All Likely that the plan will lead to lasting peace.
    • Almost half of Republican voters (45%) say the plan will bring lasting peace.
    • Sixty-five percent (65%) of Democrats think it is not likely to bring peace.
    • Among those who talk politics every day, 37% say the plan is Very Likely to bring lasting peace, and 26% say it's Somewhat Likely.
  • In the current conflict, 35% say the U.S. should support Israel.
    • That is up 3 points from a week ago, but down 7 points from February, when Trump took office.
    • It is down from a high of 56% just after the Hamas attacks in 2023.
    • Twenty-eight percent (28%) say we should not support either side.
    • Support for Palestine remains relatively stable, at 20%. That is up 3 points from last week, and up 5 points from February.
  • Fifty-six (56%) of voters believe President Trump supports Israel.
    • This is up 4 points from June's and February's surveys, where 52% said Trump supported Israel.
    • Just 11% currently think he supports Palestine, up 4 points from 7% in June.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 6-7, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
