    • Almost half of Democrats (45%) say that Israel is somewhere between an ally and an enemy.
  • On the other hand, only 14% of voters consider the Palestinian groups in Gaza to be allies of the United States, and 29% consider them to be enemies.
    • Republicans and Democrats have mixed views with only 13% (Rs) and 16% (Ds) thinking the Palestinian groups are allies. However, 45% of Republicans and 14% of Democrats say the groups are enemies.
    • One quarter (28%) of Republicans and 48% of Democrats say the groups are somewhere in between.
    • The 35-44 age group is evenly divided: 25% say Palestinian groups are allies, 25% say enemies, 24% say somewhere in between, and 26% are not sure.
    • Almost half of Evangelical Christians (48%) say that the Palestinian groups are enemies.
