Forty-six percent (46%) of voters agree that the winner of the Artificial Intelligence race will be the world's leading superpower. Another 27% disagree, while another 27% are undecided.

Republicans agree with the statement by a margin of 57% to 22%. Democrats agree by a smaller 41% to 33% margin. Trump-policy voters are convinced by a gaping margin of 64% to 20%. Traditional GOP voters are less convinced, but still agree 48% to 29%. On the left, there is not a division between the wings.

Part of the reason for voters' general conviction is due to the increasing prevelence in the use of AI. Eighteen percent (18%) report using it Daily or Nearly Every Day, up from 13% in March and up from 15% September 1st. Another 22% use it most days. All told, 40% use it at more days than not and a majority (56%) use it at least Once a Week. Just 31% claim to use it Rarely or Never, a number that is bolstered by 55% of seniors.

Despite its growing use, however, voters remain concerned: just 24% of voters say the benefits to AI outweigh the risks.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, September 21-22, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
