Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters favor passage of the Continuing Resolution, while 29% are opposed. The question informed survey participants that the Continuing Resolution would slow the overall growth of federal spending while increasing spending to secure the border and for national defense. Non-defense spending will go down a bit.
Seventy-nine percent (79%) of GOP voters favor the proposal, while only 9% are opposed. Democrats are opposed by a 49% to 32% margin.
Sixty-six percent (66%) of Republicans want their representative to vote for the bill, while just 27% of Democrats want their representative to.
The Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters nationwide was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen March 10, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
