  • Given a list, 29% of voters still rate the Economy as the most important political issue right now.
    • Among 1,000 registered voters, Inflation (19%) and National Security (16%) also rank highly.
    • Healthcare (10%) and immigration (10%) have declined in importance.
    • Crime (5%), Education (4%), Climate Change (4%), Abortion (3%), and Gun Laws (2%) are also less commonly at the top of voters' minds.
    • For Republicans, the top issues identified as most important are the Economy (24%), National Security (23%), Inflation (16%), and Immigration (16%).
    • For Democrats, the top issues are the Economy (34%), Inflation (18%), and Healthcare (13%).
  • A strong majority of voters (79%) said that the Economy is Very Important.
    • Seventy-three percent (73%) said that Inflation is Very Important.
    • Another 66% said that Healthcare is Very Important.
    • Sixty-four percent (64%) rated National Security is Very Important

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 25-26, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
