Fifty-nine percent (59%) support the "DOGE dividend" concept with 20% of savings paid directly to the American people and 80% used to reduce the federal budget deficit. A Napolitan News Survey found that just 22% are opposed. Republicans overwhelmingly support it, while Democrats are evenly divided.
However, support for the DOGE dividend falls to 45% if overall spending goes up despite the DOGE cuts.
Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters think it's at least somewhat likely that DOGE and President Trump will significantly reduce federal government spending over the next year.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen February 20-21, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
