Seventy (70%) percent of the Elite 1% trust the federal government to do the right thing most of the time. Only 22% of Registered Voters share this view.
In fact, a larger number of voters-32%- rarely or never trust the federal government to do the right thing. Among the Elite 1%, however, just 7% exhibit such skepticism. That includes 17% percent of the Republican elites and 4% of elites who are Democrats.
