Seventy percent (70%) of voters approve of President Trump sending U.S. military troops to help secure the southern border. Data released earlier showed that 63% of voters approve of the president's efforts to deport illegal immigrants.
Eighty-four percent (84%) believe that legal immigration is good for America and 82% believe illegal immigration is bad.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen February 20-21, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
