  • Most voters (59%) agree that there is no point reforming our system of legal immigration until we first secure the border.
  • Most (62%) agree that, if the border has been secured, there should be a way for a person who entered illegally five years ago but has held a steady job since and been a good member of the community to stay in the United States.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen June 23-24, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
