A recent Napolitan News survey found that 41% of voters say that the number of deportations have gone too far, while 51% disagree. This includes 28% who say they have not gone far enough and 23% who say the Administration's efforts are about right.

Vermont tops that list, with 51% believing they have gone too far. In California, just shy of a majority (49%) believe they have gone too far, while 43% disagree.

On the other hand, in both Texas and Florida, just 39% believe deportations have gone too far. In Florida, 54% disagree. In Texas, that figure is 64%.

Sixty-five percent (65%) of those in Washington D.C believe the deportations have gone too far, just 12% believe they haven't gone far enough, and 15% think it's about right. This 15 point difference from the national average once again highlights that sentiments in DC are often significantly different than the rest of the nation.

Congressional Districts

Among congressional districts, Washington, DC and WA-07 (65%) top the list. A total of 78 districts have a majority who say the number of deportations has gone too far. In contrast, 228 districts have a majority who disagree.

Just 66 districts contain a plurality who say deportation numbers haven't gone far enough, and none have a majority with that opinion.

A total of 4 districts (MO-08, TN-01, AL-04, KY-05) have at least 40% of voters who say the number of deportations has not gone far enough.

*It is crucial to note that this question is not a reflection on the methods employed in the process of deportation. Voters are quite clear in what they consider appropriate behavior for ICE officers, as well as protesters.
