82% Favor Prohibiting Foreign Governments from Buying US Land

Eighty-two percent (82%) of voters favor prohibiting foreign governments and companies controlled by foreign governments from buying land in the United States. A Napolitan News survey found that just 12% oppose.

When it comes to citizens from other countries purchasing land in America, voters' feelings are similar. Sixty-seven percent (67%) believe that Chinese citizens shouldn't be allowed to purchase land in America, which is the same policy that China has put in place for Americans.

The Napolitan News Service surveys of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen November 20-21, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
