  • An overwhelming 83% of voters say individual Americans should be allowed to purchase any health insurance product approved by their state's health insurance commissioner.
    • Only 4% disagree.
    • Similarly, a large majority (84%) of both Democrats and Republicans agree that Americans should be able to buy any product.
  • Another huge majority (91%) say that large companies should be required to offer health insurance coverage to their employees.
    • Only 6% of voters disagree.
    • More Democrats (96%) than Republicans (88%) agree.
    • More women (96%) than men (86%) also agree that large companies should offer insurance.
  • Eighty-three percent (83%) of voters favor a proposal that allows workers to opt out of parts of their company's health insurance coverage and pay lower premiums.
    • Almost half (46%) Strongly Favor that proposal.
    • Only 10% oppose a proposal that allows workers to opt out, with only 3% Strongly opposing.
    • More Republicans (91%) than Democrats (77%) say that workers should be able to opt out.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 15-16, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
