For the full month of April , President Trump's job approval sits at 43%.
- This is 2 points down from last month, and 7 points down from October when it was 50%.
- The Napolitan News survey of 10,264 Registered Voters also found that 55% disapprove (up 1 point from last month).
- These numbers include 23% who Strongly Approve, and 45% who Strongly Disapprove.
- Eighty percent (80%) of Republicans approve, but opinions within the party differ widely. Trump-policy voters approve by 96%, but only 53% of traditional GOP Republicans approve.
- Not surprisingly, 86% of Democrats disapprove.
- A majority (68%) of Independents also disapprove.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 10,264 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, April 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 1.2.
