  • In the full month of December, 45% of voters considered themselves Republican or leaned Republican, while 43% considered themselves Democrats or leaned Democrat.
    • For Republicans, this number is the same as November and down 1 point from October.
    • Similarly, for Democrats, the number is down 1 point from November and October.
    • When leaners are removed, the Republicans have a 3-point advantage (37% Republicans to 34% Democrats).
  • Republicans have held a party edge every month from last November through September, except during the month of April, when tariffs were announced.
    • This Napolitan News survey is based upon interviews with 7,215 registered voters. A description of the dynamic party weighting methodology used to obtain these results is available here.
