  • Considering another bid for president, former Vice President Kamala Harris is viewed favorably by 47% of registered voters, but unfavorably by 50%.
    • This includes 23% who have a Very Favorable opinion and 40% who say their opinion is Not at All Favorable.
    • By a large margin of 88% to 10%, Democrats have a favorable opinion.
    • Flipping the numbers, Republicans view her unfavorably by the same margin of 88% to 10%.
    • More women (57%) than men (37%) view Harris favorably.
  • Although Secretary of State Marco Rubio is emerging as a top 2028 GOP presidential contender, his favorability ratings haven't moved much.
    • Just 36% view Rubio favorably, the same as in December 2025.
    • More voters (44%) view him unfavorably, up 5 points from December.
    • Although 74% of Trump voters view Rubio favorably, just 43% of traditional GOP Republicans feel the same.
    • Conversely, 67% of Democrats view Rubio unfavorably.
    • Still, 20% of voters have never heard of Rubio or don't know enough to have an opinion.
  • New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is viewed favorably by 31%, similar to November's 30%.
    • However, his unfavorable ratings have increased five points to 40%. This is likely a result of increased visibility now that he is in office.
    • A slim majority (55%) of Democrats view him favorably, but 32% have never heard of Mamdani or don't know enough to have an opinion.
  • California Governor Gavin Newsom doesn't fair much better: 33% view him favorably, but 46% view him unfavorably.
    • These numbers include 34% who have a Very Unfavorable opinion.
    • A presidential aspirant, Newsom is viewed favorably by a majority (59%) of Democrats.
    • A larger majority (70%) of Republicans view him unfavorably.
  • Favorability ratings for former Vice President Mike Pence are low, with only 34% viewing him favorably but a majority (54%) viewing him unfavorably.This net of -20 places him at the bottom of voter opinion for this week's survey.
    • Only 7% have a Very Favorable view.
    • Twenty-eight percent (28%) have a Very Unfavorable view.
    • Even a plurality (44%) of Republicans view him unfavorably, and a majority (63%) of Democrats feel the same.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 11-12. 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
