On the Generic Congressional Ballot, 43% of voters say they will vote for the Democrat from their district and 43% say they will vote for the Republican. However, when leaners are included, the Democrats have a three-point advantage, 48% to 45%.

A month ago, Democrats led 50% to 45% when leaners were included. In January and February, Republicans led (and they won the popular vote for Congress last November).

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen May 20-21, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
