For the full month of July, President Trump's job approval rating is 44%. That is up 1 point from June and 2 points from May, but down 6 points from 50% in October of 2025. A majority (53%) disapprove. Eight in 10 Republicans (81%) approve of the president's performance, while 86% of Democrats disapprove.

The current numbers contain 22% who Strongly Approve and 42% who Strongly Disapprove. This dynamic is similar to approval of ICE.
Voters who are Politically Engaged (meaning they talk politics at least most days) approve of the president by a margin of 52% to 47%. Voters who are Disengaged disapprove by a 56% to 42% margin.
For reference, in the month of July, 29% of voters were politically engaged.
