  • Just 18% of voters trust President Trump and his administration more than doctors and medical associations when it comes to linking Tylenol and autism.
    • This includes a minority of Republicans (34%) and just 6% of Democrats.
    • Seventy-one percent (71%) of voters trust doctors and medical associations more.
  • A majority (53%) also say that Tylenol is safe for pregnant women to take.
    • Twenty-six percent (26%) say it is not safe.
    • Republicans are split: 37% say it is safe, and 37% say it is not, while 69% of Democrats say it is safe to take.
  • Fifty-two percent (52%) think women themselves should be the ones making the decision on whether or not to take the medication during pregnancy.
    • Forty-two percent (42%) say doctors should decide.
    • A majority (58%) of Republicans prefer to let the woman choose, while Democrats are split.
    • Half (51%) of Democrats say doctors should make the decision, while 45% say the women themselves should make the call.
  • Just 4% think it is the business of the federal or state government.
