Just 36% of all voters currently favor the attacks on Iran, while 57% oppose them. And, while 8 in 10 Trump-policy voters (79%) continue their support unchanged, only 41% of Traditional GOP voters agree. The last several weeks have shown slight cracks among supporters, as support has consistently fallen a couple of points lower than it had been.

Republicans from both camps are slightly more approving of Trump's overall handling of the situation in Iran, which brings his approval among all votres to 40%, though 57% still disapprove. On both topics, those who Strongly Oppose/Disapprove outnumber those who Strongly Favor/Approve by more than a 2 to 1 margin.

By a 50% to 45% margin, voters continue to say that preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons is more important than ending the war. Just over 50% of voters with a postgraduate degree say ending the war is more important, while just over 50% of those without one disagree.

However, as other surveys from Napolitan Institute have shown, just 37% of voters believe this war is truly about nuclear proliferation.
