  • Thirty-four percent of voters have a favorable opinion of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while 42% of voters have an unfavorable opinion.
    • The unfavorable number has reached a new high, up from 38% in August and 27% in 2023.
    • The number viewing him favorably has not changed much, and is identical to the 2023 survey.
    • Fifty-four percent (54%) of Republicans have a favorable view, compared to just 16% of Democrats.
  • Highlighting the difference between the world of politics and the vast majority of Americans, 40% of those who talk politics every day have a Very Favorable opinion of Netanyahu.
    • This is nearly 30 points higher than any other measured group in that category.
  • But for all this, the number calling for Netanyahu's arrest if he visits the U.S. has fallen 9 points to 37%.
    • Still, overall, the number saying he should not be arrested has only gone up 4 points, to 36%.
    • Just 27% of the GOP now call for his arrest, compared to 40% when we asked in August.
    • Nearly half (48%) of Democrats call for his arrest.
