  • For the first time, voter approval of Israel's response to Hamas falls into negative territory.
    • Thirty-eight percent (38%) approve of their response, while 40% disapprove.
    • In December of 2024, 43% approved. Just after the attacks in 2023, 56% approved.
  • The number saying we should support Israel is also at new lows, with just 32% saying we should support them in the current conflict.
    • That is down 4 points from last month, and 10 points from February, when Trump took office. 
    • It is down from a high of 56% just after the Hamas attacks in 2023.
    • Thirty percent (30%) say we should support neither side.
    • Support for Palestine remains relatively stable, at 17%, down 1 point from a month ago, but up 2 points from February.
  • Sixty percent (60%) of voters believe President Trump supports Israel, up 8 points from June.
    • June's survey stayed steady with February's.
    • Just 8% think he supports Palestine.
  • Finally, 40% approve how President Trump has handled the situation, while 45% disapprove.
    • Approval is down 5 points from June, but up 5 points from the last measurement when President Biden was in office.

 


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, September 29-30, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
