  • When asked about the situation in Gaza, 46% say that protecting Israel from future attack is more important than letting Palestinians control the Gaza territory.
    • Twenty-one percent (21%) disagree.
  • Just 29% of government employees say protecting Israel should be the priority.
    • That's lower than for every other measured employment group.
  • Voters who prefer Trump-like policies support the occupation by a 60% to 18% margin.
    • No other group in our four way choice question even has a plurality.
  • Still, just 32% of American voters favor a full military occupation of Gaza city by Israel.
    • A Napolitan News survey found that 42% are opposed.
    • Those numbers include 13% who strongly favor the action and 24% who strongly oppose it.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen August 11-12, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
