  • Six in 10 voters (58%) say that Israel is an ally of the U.S.
    • That number is up from 53% in January, where it had been since June 2025.
    • Thirteen percent (13%) say Israel is an enemy and another 21% say it is neither.
  • Half of voters (51%) say it is appropriate for the U.S. to work with Israel to coordinate Iran strikes. Just over a third (35%) disagree.
    • Three quarters (75%) of Republicans say it is appropriate, while 55% of Democrats say it is not appropriate.
  • Fewer voters (41%) say Israel is a force for good in the world.
    • However, that is up from 29% in January, and back to where it was in 2025 and 2023.
    • This bounce is likely due to such negative perceptions of Iran.
    • These gains have come across party lines, though a stark partisan divide remains on the overall question.
  • Voters are more united in the belief that Iran was a threat to Israel before the Iran attacks.
    • Fifty-nine percent (59%) say Iran was a threat, while just 20% disagree.
  • An overwhelming 67% of voters say Iran creating a nuclear weapon is a Very Serious threat to Israel.
    • Another 23% say it would be a Somewhat Serious threat.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 11-12, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
