Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters believe Congress should have the right to review any executive order within 90 days and determine whether it should be allowed to stand or overturned.
Eighty-three percent (83%) of Democrats and 45% of Republicans hold that view. It is likely the partisan numbers would have been reversed when President Biden was still in office.
Voters are divided over President Trump's executive orders. Forty-four percent (44%) believe they have gone too far, while 47% disagree. That includes 17% who say they have not gone far enough and 30% who say the balance has been about right.
