  • Knowing that the Constitution prohibits anyone from serving a third term as president, 72% of registered voters oppose a third term for President Trump.
    • Understanding the prohibition in the Constitution, 42% of Republicans still favor a third term.
    • Nine-four percent (94%) of Democrats and 76% of Independents oppose it.
  • Eighty-three percent (83%) of registered voters know that a third term is not allowed.
    • This includes 94% of Democrats and 74% of Republicans.
