    • In June 2025, 58% of voters believed that President Biden was not mentally and physically capable of serving as president during his final year in office, while 29% believed him capable.
    • While 84% of Trump-policy voters say Trump is capable, only 6 in 10 Traditional GOP voters (59%) are convinced.
  • With that in mind, half (49%) of voters say Donald Trump should be removed from office under the 25th amendment, which states that the vice president and a majority of Congress can declare a president unable to fulfill his duties.
    • Just 39% are convinced Trump should NOT be removed, while another 12% are not sure.
    • Those numbers are nearly identical to July 2024, when Joe Biden was in office; 47% said the 25th amendment should be used then, but 37% disagreed.
  • Nearly 1 in 3 GOP voters say Trump either should be removed or that they are not sure.
    • Eighteen percent (18%) are convinced he should be removed, and 12% are not sure.
  • Still, only 25% say it's at least Somewhat Likely that the 25th amendment will be used to remove President Trump from power.
    • Two thirds (67%) say the amendment is not likely to be used.
  • Half (51%) say Trump should resign as President of the United States, while 42% disagree.
    • As you'd expect, the parties wildly disagree: 84% of Democrats say he should resign, and 75% of Republicans disagree.
