Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters believe that Donald Trump has violated the Constitution and claimed power that a president should not have. A Napolitan News survey found that 32% disagree and say he has not violated the Constitution.
By way of comparison, 34% said Joe Biden violated the Constitution, while 48% said he did not.
Similarly, a majority (62%) of voters say that Donald Trump has ignored orders issued by judges and the Supreme Court to implement his policies. Thirty-one percent (31%) think that Joe Biden did the same.
Eighty-six percent (86%) say that it is more important for a president to follow the constitution than for him to do what he thinks is right.
