  • Following the shooting of Alex Pretti, a majority (55%) of voters now favor removing ICE from Minnesota.
    • A Napolitan News survey finds that just one third (34%) are opposed, while 10% are Not Sure.
    • Democrats overwhelmingly favor removing ICE by a 75% to 18% margin.
    • Republicans disagree by a margin of 54% to 39%.
  • The key to the majority is voters who prefer Traditional Republican policies, who support leaving by a 47% to 39% margin.
  • By nearly double digits (48% to 39%), voters say it is fair to call the presence of ICE agents an invasion of Minnesota.
    • Another 13% are Not Sure.
    • Two thirds (67%) of Democrats consider that a fair description, while 59% of Republicans say it is not.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, January 26, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
