President Trump's approval rating on handling the economy, the top voter issue, is 41%.
- That is two points lower than last month.
His rating on inflation is similar (40%), six points lower than last month.
Immigration now sits at 47% approval.
- This is the first time this year that approval on this issue has dipped below 50%.
On nearly every issue measured, the president has reached or tied yearly approval lows.
- The only exception is education, where the president is underwater 43% to 52%. It avoided a yearly low by a single point.
- The sole bright spot is national security, which we have only measured for two surveys, and has stayed steady at 51%.

The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen September 16-17, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
