On nearly every top issue measured this month, the president has gained ground.
On the Economy, the most important issue, 43% of registered voters approve, a 4-point increase from November.
- More than half (56%) disapprove, 4 points lower than last month.
Fewer voters (39%) approve of President Trump's job performance on Inflation, a 3-point improvement over last month.
- Still, 59% disapprove, but that's a 4-point decrease in November's pessimistic views.
- Both of these economic indicators match the slight improvement in personal finances and the U.S. economy as a whole.
On Healthcare (an issue that is currently considered the most important issue by 16% of voters), 47% approve.
- This is a 9-point increase from last month and the same as the high of 47% in May.
- Still, 52% disapprove, but that's 7 points lower than in November.
On the president's signature issue of Immigration, his approval sits at 51%, 4 points up from last month.
- Disapproval on that issue has lowered 4 points to 48%.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, December 17-18, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
