  • Given a list, 28% of voters still rate the Economy as the most important political issue right now.
    • Among 1,000 registered voters, Healthcare (16%), Inflation (15%), and National Security (11%) also rank highly.
    • Immigration (9%), Crime (6%), Climate Change (4%), Abortion (4%), Gun Laws (4%), and Education (3%) are less commonly at the top of voters' minds.
    • For Republicans, the top three issues identified as most important are the Economy (27%), National Security (17%), and Immigration (16%).
    • For Democrats, the top three issues are the Economy (28%), Healthcare (26%), and Inflation (14%).
  • In recent months, voters have been less concerned about Immigration, and Healthcare has gained prominence, possibly because the Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies are set to expire soon.
    • Just 9% of voters now say Immigration is the most important political issue, placing it fifth on the list.
  • A strong majority of voters (80%) said that the Economy is Very Important.
    • Three quarters (74%) said that Healthcare is Very Important.
    • Another 70% said that Inflation is Very Important.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, December 3-4, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
