Over the past six weeks, Chuck Schumer's unfavorable ratings have increased from 41% to 48%. A Napolitan News survey found that the number of Democrats viewing Schumer unfavorably increased dramatically to 36%. That is up ten points from 26% last month. It is likely that much of this change is due to the way he handled a Republican bill to avoid a government shutdown.
Meanwhile, Mike Johnson's favorables have dropped slightly from 36% in March to 32% now. Among Republicans who prefer Trump-like policies, his favorability is up five from 58% in March to 63% now. But among traditional Republicans, his favorability is down nine from 47% in March to 38% this month.
Large numbers of voters have either never heard of (38%) or don't know enough to have an opinion about (19%) John Thune. Many have also never heard of (23%) or don't know enough to have an opinion about (14%) Hakeem Jeffries.
There has been little change in voters views of J.D. Vance, from even in March to net -1 (46% favorable, 47% unfavorable) now.
