  • Forty-five percent (45%) of voters have favorable opinions of J.D. Vance. 
    • Forty-seven percent (47%) have unfavorable ones. 
  • There has been a continued slide for Chuck Schumer, while Mike Johnson has had a bit of a bounce.
    • In April, just 32% had favorable views of Schumer, while 48% viewed him unfavorably. This month, his favorables are down to 29%, while unfavorables remain unchanged.
    • This month, Johnson's favorables are up to 38%, while his unfavorables have dropped to 34%.
  • For John Thune, just 23% have favorable views and 25% unfavorable. Fifty-two percent have never heard of him or don't know enough to have opinions.
  • For Hakeem Jeffries, 30% have favorable views and 35% unfavorable, while 44% have never heard of him or don't have opinions.


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen May 28-29, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
