With less than a month to go until election day, 42% of registered voters statewide say they would vote for Susan Crawford in the election for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Thirty-five percent (35%) say they will vote for Crawford's opponent, Brad Schimel.
It's important to note, however, that fewer than half of the state's registered voters are expected to vote.
When told that Crawford is the liberal candidate and Schimel is the conservative, that margin narrows to 4 points (44% Crawford, 40% Schimel).
In the upcoming election for Superintendent of Public Instruction, voters are evenly divided between Brittany Kinser (22%) and Jill Underly (20%). A majority (58%) are undecided.
However, when told that Brittany Kinser supports school choice and Jill Underly opposes it, Kinser's lead jumps to 32 points (55% to 23%).
When told that Brittany Kinser supports funding for low-income families to attend private school and Jill Underly opposes such funding, Kinser's lead is 30 points (56% to 26%).
Half (50%) of all voters say that Wisconsin k-12 schools are headed in the wrong direction. Just 28% say they are headed in the right direction.
