Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters favor the Trump Administration requirement for all federal workers to return to the office.
However, a Napolitan News survey found that only 49% support the eight month buyout of employees who choose to resign rather than return to the office. Thirty-eight percent (38%) oppose the plan. That includes 13% of voters who oppose the plan because it is too generous to the federal employees.
Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters believe cutting the number of government jobs is good for the economy. A Napolitan News survey found that just 35% believe it is bad for the economy.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen January 29-30, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
