  • President Trump's approval rating on handling the Economy is 46%. 
    • That is up 5 points from last month when it was only 41%.
    • Also in positive territory for Trump, fewer voters (52%) disapprove compared to 58% last month.
    • A similar number (51%) disapproved in August.
    • The economy consistently ranks as the most important issue in our weekly polling.
  • On Inflation, the 41% approval rating is similar to the 40% approval last month.
    • Still, 57% disapprove, down 1 point from September, but up 9 points from August.
  • Approval on Immigration went up to 53%, which is 6 points higher than last month.
    • This is the highest approval on immigration since May when it was 56%.
    • Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove of President Trump's handling of immigration.
    • September marked the lowest approval for immigration at 47%. The highest approval was in May at 56%.
  • In this latest poll, the president's approval numbers improved on every issue measured. Highlights include:
    • On Crime, 53% approve, up 6 points from last month. Forty-four percent (44%) disapprove.
    • On National Security, 54% approve, up 3 points from last month. Forty-three percent (43%) disapprove.
    • And on Healthcare, 43% approve, up 4 points from last month. But more than half (53%) disapprove.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, October 15-16, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
