  • If the election were held today, 44% of registered voters say they would vote for the Republican from their district, and 41% say they would vote for the Democrat.
    • When leaners are included, the Republicans maintain a 2-point advantage, 47% to 45%.
    • Republicans had the advantage for several months, until last month when the Democrats were up by 1 point and also last May when they were led by 3 at 48% to 45%.
  • However, among those Very Enthusiastic about voting in the Congressional elections this year, Democrats still lead Republicans 47% to 42%.
    • Last month, overall, fewer voters were Very Enthusiastic (43% D's and 35% R's).
    • Those who are Very Enthusiastic are most likely to turn out and cast a ballot.
    • Among voters who prefer Trump-like policies, 52% are Very Enthusiastic. That's more enthusiasm than voters who prefer AOC-like policies (48%).
    • Among those who prefer more traditional Republican policies, just 27% are Very Enthusiastic.
    • Senior voters over 65 are the most enthusiastic age group to vote, with 58% Very Enthusiastic. Just 34% of 18- to 34-year-old voters are Very Enthusiastic.
    • The largest majority (70%) of Very Enthusiastic voters are those who talk politics every day or almost daily.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, February 9-12. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
