  • Just 37% of voters now approve of how the Trump Administration is handling the situation in Minneapolis.
    • That's down 3 points from just two days ago, while the number that disapprove (55%) has risen 4 points.
    • Seventy-two percent (72%) of Republicans approve of the handling of the situation.
    • In contrast, 89% of Democrats disapprove.
  • However, the number of voters who say deportations have Gone Too Far has hardly moved.
    • Currently, 44% say the number of deportations has Gone Too Far. That is nearly identical to the 45% who said the same after the shooting of Renee Good, and the 43% who said the same immediately following the killing of Alex Pretti.
    • Twenty-eight percent (28%) say deportations have Not Gone Far Enough, while another 22% say the number of deportations has been about right.
  • Meanwhile, support for deportations of illegal immigrants in general is also largely unchanged.
    • A majority (54%) favor the Trump Administration's efforts to deport illegal immigrants, up 2 points from January 26.
    • That number includes 90% of Republicans, while 77% of Democrats oppose the efforts.
  • As noted recently, Trump's rating on the issue of immigration has fallen to 48%, 1 point from his lowest rating so far.
  • As Scott Rasmussen noted recently for the Wall Street Journal, there are many different aspects to the immigration discussion.
