  • On Economic issues, voters continue to trust Republicans over Democrats.
    • On the economy overall, 44% of voters trust the Republican party more than Democrats while 35% trust Democrats more.
    • This 9-point Republican advantage on the economy is up from a 4-point advantage a month ago.
    • Over the last year, voters have consistently trusted Republicans more than Democrats except for a brief period of time following President Trump's announcement of tariffs.
  • On Inflation, more voters trust the Republican party by a 39% to 35% margin.
  • On Immigration, 46% of voters trust Republicans versus 35% who trust Democrats.
  • On Healthcare, opinions are different. Democrats have the advantage by a 43% to 32% margin.
    • Democrats have consistently led voters' trust on Healthcare with margins as high as 14-point differences. Last April, 47% of voters trusted Democrats, but only 33% trusted Republicans.
  • Voters rate the three most important issues as economy, inflation, and immigration


The most recent data cited is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, September 24-25, 2025. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
